Biography
Jim Jefferies is an Australian stand-up comedian, actor and writer. Born Geoffrey James Nugent in Sydney in 1977, he initially trained as an opera singer before moving into comedy.
He created and starred in the FX sitcom Legit (2013–2014) and hosted the Comedy Central series The Jim Jefferies Show (2017–2019). His stand-up specials include Jim Jefferies: I Swear to God (2009), Alcoholocaust (2010), Bare (2014), Freedumb (2016) and This Is Me Now (2018). Acting credits include The Librarians (2014), S.W.A.T. (2017), Killing Hasselhoff (2017), Extinct (2021) and the role of Marco in the 2025 film Him.
