Biography
Jim Margolis is an American television producer, writer and director. He attended Wesleyan University until 1993.
He worked at The Daily Show from 2001 to 2012, first as a field producer and later as co-executive producer. Margolis served as writer and co-executive producer on Veep in 2016, and has writing credits on Childrens Hospital (2016) and other series including Newsreaders and Blunt Talk. He was showrunner and executive producer of Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj.
Margolis has won multiple Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on The Daily Show and Veep, and a Writers Guild of America Award for Veep.
