Biography
Jim May is a film editor.
He attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and began his career in visual effects editing, working at companies including Industrial Light & Magic and Sony Pictures Imageworks before moving into feature editing.
May edited The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), Van Helsing (2004), G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013) and episodes of the series Love, Death & Robots (2019). His other credits include Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022), Rampage (2018), Non-Stop (2014) and Cowboys & Aliens (2011). He has worked on multiple projects with director Stephen Sommers.
