Biography
Jim Patterson is an American screenwriter and producer. He contributed as writer, teleplay writer and story writer on the television series Two and a Half Men (2003), later serving as co-showrunner for its final three seasons alongside Don Reo.
Patterson co-created the comedy-drama series The Ranch (2016) with Reo. His other credits include writing and producing work on Mike & Molly (2010), B Positive (2020), Call Me Kat (2021) and Shifting Gears (2025). He received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series for his work on Two and a Half Men.
