Biography
Jocelyn Brando was an American film, stage and television actress. She trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and made her Broadway debut in 1942.
Her film debut came in the war drama China Venture (1953). She is best known for playing Katie Bannion, the wife of Glenn Ford's character, in Fritz Lang's film noir The Big Heat (1953). She also appeared in supporting roles in two films starring her brother Marlon Brando: The Ugly American (1963) and The Chase (1966). Brando worked extensively in television, with guest roles in series including Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, Kojak and Dallas.
