Biography
Joe E. Tata was an American television actor. Born Joseph Evan Tata on 13 September 1936 in New York City, he died on 24 August 2022 in Los Angeles.
Tata began his screen career in 1960 and appeared in numerous series, including Batman (1966), The Rockford Files, Mission: Impossible and Charmed (1998). He is best known for portraying Nat Bussichio, the owner of the Peach Pit diner, in all ten seasons of Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990–2000), appearing in 238 episodes. He reprised the role in three episodes of the 2008 spin-off series 90210 and made his final screen appearance in Mystery Girls (2014).
The son of a vaudevillian, Tata was married to Susan Levy from 1976 until their divorce; they had one daughter.
