Biography
Joe Menendez is an American film and television director. Born on 23 June 1969 in New York City and raised in Miami, he is of Cuban descent. He began directing at a young age and moved to Los Angeles in 1992 to pursue a career in the industry.
Menendez has directed episodes of numerous series, including Snowpiercer (2020), Star Trek: Picard (2020), Evil (2019), Kung Fu (2021), Siren (2018), 12 Monkeys (2015) and From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series (2014). His feature films include Ladrón que Roba a Ladrón (To Rob a Thief, 2007), its sequel Ladrones (2015), Legends of the Hidden Temple (2016) and Henry Danger: The Movie (2025). He has also worked as a producer, writer and editor, and has directed over 125 hours of television.
