Biography
Joe Urla is an American actor known for work in film, television and on stage. He was born on 25 December 1958 in Pontiac, Michigan, and trained at the University of Michigan and the Yale School of Drama.
Urla began his screen career in the mid-1980s. He appeared in The Bodyguard (1992) as Minella, Strange Days (1995), Sleepers (1996) and Deep Impact (1998). On television he played the recurring role of Dugan in Seinfeld and guest roles in series including Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Wire and Homeland. He won a Theatre World Award in 1986 for his stage performance in Principia Scriptoriae.
