Biography
Joel Skinner is a British television editor. Born and raised in Bristol, he worked in insurance before pursuing a career in film in his late twenties. He holds a Master's degree in Film and began in the industry as an assistant editor and visual effects editor on series including Doctor Who, Sherlock and Luther.
Skinner’s first editing credit came on Luther (2010), where he had previously worked as an assistant. He has since edited episodes of His Dark Materials (2019), Fate: The Winx Saga (2022), Wolf (2023) and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022), among other productions.
