Biography
Joelle Garfinkel is a television writer. She has worked in various capacities on more than twenty series, including as a post-production assistant, writers' assistant, showrunners' assistant, script coordinator and staff writer.
Her writing credits include episodes of Foundation (2021), Fire Country (2022), Ordinary Joe (2021–2022) and Tig n' Seek (2020). She created the web series Cam Girls (2015), for which she received several awards and nominations. Garfinkel's play Residual Fear was a Eugene O'Neill semi-finalist. She was a finalist in the WB Writers' Workshop and participated in the Jewish Federation's Master Class programme. She founded Green Envelope Grocery Aid, a mutual aid fund that provided grants during the 2023 writers' and actors' strikes.
