Biography
Joey Elkins is a screenwriter whose credits include work on the Netflix series Outer Banks (2020–). He has contributed as staff writer, story editor, executive story editor, and on story and teleplay for multiple episodes.
His earlier credits include writing the short film Reservations (2003) and several television films such as Unlocking Christmas (2020), Love on Iceland (2020), Autumn in the City (2022) and Game of Love (2023). He has also worked in script coordination and continuity on series including Shadowhunters (2017), Blood & Treasure (2019–2022) and Outer Banks.
Elkins wrote the official companion book Outer Banks: Pogue Life (2022).
