Biography
Johannes Schubert is an Austrian film producer. Born in Vienna in 1990, he studied film and television production at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF and completed a master’s in producing at the National Film and Television School.
He founded the production company Schubert in 2020. His credits include Club Zero (2023), directed by Jessica Hausner, and Rose (2026), directed by Markus Schleinzer. He has also produced Dear Future Children (2021) and Our Girls (2025).
Schubert is an alumnus of EAVE and ACE Producers and was selected as Producer on the Move at Cannes. He is a member of the Austrian, German and European Film Academies.
