Biography
John Cheung Ng-Long is a Hong Kong actor, martial arts choreographer, stunt coordinator and action director. Also credited as Chang Wu-Lang and Cheung Wu-Long, he began working in Hong Kong cinema in the 1970s, appearing in Shaw Brothers productions and later films for Goldig.
His early credits include the role of Lord Cheng in The 36th Chamber of Shaolin (1978). He has appeared in numerous Hong Kong action films, among them Project A (1983), Winners & Sinners (1983), Police Story 2 (1988) and Miracles: The Canton Godfather (1989). In the United States he played supporting roles in Bloodsport (1988), Double Impact (1991) and Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993), and contributed to the action sequences on several of these productions.
He has also worked as action director or stunt coordinator on films including Kickboxer (1989) and directed Treasure Hunter (2000).
