Biography
John David Buxton is an American television editor and occasional director. He was born on 31 January 1980 in Ada, Oklahoma.
Buxton began his career in the editorial department as an assistant editor, including on Boston Legal (2004–2008). He later worked as editor on series including Harry's Law (2011–2012), Monday Mornings (2013), Resurrection (2014), The Last Ship (2014–2015), Chicago Med (2015–2017), Goliath (2016–2021) and Big Shot (2021–2022). He is a member of the American Cinema Editors and has directed the film Slay Day.
