Biography
John E. Davis was an American composer and actor. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 31 August 1947, he composed music and themes for many television series, often under the credit John Davis.
He is known for the main title theme of Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990), on which he also worked as composer, and for his contributions to Mission: Impossible (1988), T. J. Hooker (1982), Dynasty (1981) and The Love Boat (1977). He returned for the 2008 series 90210 and received five awards for his television work.
Davis died on 27 January 2023 in Ohio.
