Biography
John Gray is an American writer, director and producer. Born on 18 January 1958 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the youngest recipient of an American Film Institute Independent Filmmaker Grant at the time.
He created and wrote the CBS series Ghost Whisperer (2005–2010). Gray has directed episodes of Grimm (2011), Reckless (2014) and Gone (2017), as well as the feature films The Glimmer Man (1996), Born to Be Wild (1995) and White Irish Drinkers (2010), and television films including Helter Skelter (2004) and Martin and Lewis (2002). He has been married to producer Melissa Jo Peltier since 2006.
