Biography
John Henson (1965–2014) was an American puppeteer, best known for his work with the Muppets. The son of Jim Henson and Jane Henson, he performed the character Sweetums, taking over the role from Richard Hunt in the early 1990s and supplying both puppetry and voice in later appearances.
Henson performed Sweetums in Muppet Treasure Island (1996), Muppets from Space (1999), It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie (2002) and The Muppets' Wizard of Oz (2005), as well as on Muppets Tonight (1996–1998). He also worked as a producer on independent films and created sculptures.
