Biography
John MacKay was an American actor. Born in Los Angeles, California, on 23 September 1924, he died on 14 December 1999 in Germantown, New York.
He appeared in films including Trust (1990) as Jim Slaughter, State of Grace (1990), Regarding Henry (1991), Simple Men (1992) and Killer: A Journal of Murder (1996). Television credits include multiple episodes of Law & Order and Third Watch (1999). MacKay had an extensive stage career, with a Broadway debut in 1956 and appearances with companies such as the Guthrie Theater. He was married to actress Mary Foskett.
