Biography
John Mathot is an American writer and storyboard artist. Born on 6 October 1968 in Los Angeles, he graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a B.F.A. in film, video and animation.
He is known for his writing contributions to Phineas and Ferb (2007), on which he also worked as a storyboard artist, and to Star vs. the Forces of Evil (2015). Mathot created and directed the Cartoon Network pilot Bagboy! (2002) and has worked extensively as a storyboard artist on series including The Simpsons.
He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Animated Program for his work on Phineas and Ferb.
