Biography
John Matthews (1926–1991) was an American actor. Born in Pennsylvania, he appeared in film and television from the early 1960s until the late 1980s.
His film credits include the role of Dr. L.G. Cristo in Shock Corridor (1963). On television he had guest roles in series such as Perry Mason (as F.A.A. Investigator and Dr. Richard Jenkins), Bonanza, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and The Wild Wild West, and a recurring part as Dr. Eliot Kincaid in Days of Our Lives (1968–1969). He also appeared in the television film Mandela (1987).
