Biography
John McCrea is a British actor and singer born on 10 October 1992 in Aldershot, Hampshire. He trained at Sylvia Young Theatre School and the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.
McCrea created the title role of Jamie New in the stage musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie, first at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield in 2017 and subsequently in the West End, for which he received an Olivier Award nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical. His screen credits include the role of Artie in Cruella (2021), a university student in God's Own Country (2017), and Toby in Femme (2023). He has also appeared in television series such as Dracula (2020) and Giri/Haji (2019).
