Biography
John Quinn is an American film and television editor. He studied film and video with a concentration in editing at Columbia College Chicago and moved to Los Angeles after graduating. His early credits include post-production assistant work on films such as Robert Altman’s Dr. T & the Women (2000) and John Woo’s Windtalkers (2002).
Quinn has edited numerous feature films, including several horror titles such as Lake Placid 2 (2007), Boogeyman 3 (2008), The Grudge 3 (2009) and Tales from the Hood 2 (2018). He is supervising editor and editor on the series The Chosen (2019–), working across dozens of episodes, and edited the feature The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (2024). He has received two awards for his editing work.
