Biography
John Stephens is an American television writer, producer and director. He graduated from Pomona College in 1994.
He wrote eight episodes of Gilmore Girls (2000) and served as co-producer on the series. His other television credits include writing and producing roles on The O.C. (2003), Gossip Girl (2007) and Gotham (2014), as well as directing episodes of several series.
Stephens is also the author of the children's fantasy trilogy The Books of Beginning, beginning with The Emerald Atlas (2011).
