Biography
John Wilkinson (1945–2013) was an American musician and rhythm guitarist. He performed with Elvis Presley as a member of the TCB Band from 1969 until Presley’s death in 1977, appearing in the concert films Elvis: That's the Way It Is (1970), Elvis on Tour (1972) and Elvis: Aloha from Hawaii (1973).
Wilkinson was born in Washington, District of Columbia, and later lived in Springfield, Missouri. He also performed with Chuck Berry and The Greenwood County Singers before joining Presley’s band. Archive footage of his performances featured in the 2025 documentary EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert.
