Biography
John Winter is an Australian film and television writer, director and producer. He produced Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002), which won the AFI Award for Best Film. Other producing credits include Doing Time for Patsy Cline (1997), Paperback Hero (1999) and My Mother Frank (2000).
Winter wrote and directed the feature Black & White & Sex (2012), which won an ATOM Award for Best Experimental Film and screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. He holds an Arts Degree in Anthropology and Indian Studies from Melbourne University.
