Biography
Johnny Houghton was an actor who appeared uncredited as S.H. Jackson in the 1943 British film Fires Were Started, written and directed by Humphrey Jennings and produced by the Crown Film Unit. The documentary-style drama depicts the work of the National Fire Service in London during the Blitz and used serving firefighters in its cast.
