Biography
Jon Bertain is a film editor, writer, producer and director. He is credited, sometimes as Jonathan Bertain, on short films from 2009 onwards, including a Thousand Words (2010) and Emerging (2015).
Bertain edited and co-wrote the 2017 documentary Icarus, on which he also worked in art direction. He later edited Maxine's Baby: The Tyler Perry Story (2023). He graduated from Saint Mary's College of California in 2007.
Bertain received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Nonfiction Program for his work on Icarus.
