Biography
Jon Dorsey is a writer and producer. He began his career in television production before moving into writing, with early credits including production staff on How to Get Away with Murder (2015).
Dorsey joined the writers' room on This Is Us (2016) as a staff writer, later serving as story editor and executive story editor, and contributed to multiple episodes through 2022. He also wrote episodes of The Catch (2016). His original screenplay The Kings of Cool appeared on the 2018 Black List.
In 2020, Paramount hired Dorsey to rewrite the screenplay for a feature adaptation of the children's book Corduroy. He later wrote for and co-produced the 2024 miniseries Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist.
