Biography
Jon Joffin is a South African cinematographer who has worked in the Canadian and American film and television industries. Born on 13 June 1963 in Johannesburg, he moved with his family to Canada in childhood.
He has served as director of photography on series including The X-Files (1993), Titans (2018), Star Trek: Picard (2020) and Invasion (2021), and on features such as Another Cinderella Story (2008), Haunter (2013) and Good Boys (2019). Joffin is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers.
Joffin has received several ASC and CSC awards, including for episodes of Beyond (2019), Motherland: Fort Salem (2021) and Titans (2022), as well as Emmy nominations for The Andromeda Strain (2008) and Schmigadoon! (2023).
