Biography
Jon Mirasty is a Canadian actor and former professional ice hockey player. He is best known for playing Jim #1 in the television series Shoresy (2022–), appearing across multiple seasons as one of three First Nation players on the Sudbury Bulldogs team.
A Cree Canadian from Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, Mirasty had a career as an enforcer in leagues including the AHL, ECHL and KHL before transitioning to acting. He also serves as a councillor on the Flying Dust First Nation Reservation in northwestern Saskatchewan.
