Biography
Jonatan Etzler is a Swedish film director and writer. He studied film directing at Stockholm University of the Arts, graduating in 2018, and earlier attended Stockholm Film School and the University of Stockholm.
Etzler is known for his feature directorial debut One More Time (2023), a Netflix comedy, and his English-language debut Bad Apples (2025), a dark comedy thriller adapted from a Swedish novel and starring Saoirse Ronan. He has also directed several award-winning short films, including Get Ready with Me (2019), for which he received a Student Academy Award.
