Biography
Jonathan Pierce Daviss, also known as J.D. or JD, is an American actor. He was born on 28 February 2000 in Nashville, Tennessee, and raised in Conroe, Texas, where he attended Conroe High School. After high school he moved to California with his mother to pursue acting.
Daviss trained at the British American Drama Academy’s Oxford programme. He is best known for playing Pope Heyward in the Netflix series Outer Banks (2020–2026). His other credits include the role of Elliot in the 2022 film Do Revenge and earlier appearances in Revolution (2013) and Deliverance Creek (2014). In 2026 he was cast as Snoop Dogg in an upcoming Universal Pictures biopic.
