Biography
Jonathan Djob Nkondo is a French director, animator and artist based in London. He studied animation at Gobelins in Paris and graduated in 2011.
He directed two episodes of the animated series Scavengers Reign (2023), on which he also worked as a character designer, animator and storyboard artist. His other directing credits include the short film Little Taste of Joy (2023), the music video Gorillaz: The Mountain, the Moon Cave and the Sad God (2026), and several earlier shorts such as Solipsism (2019) and Dark Day (2016). He has additionally contributed to projects including Love, Death & Robots and various music videos.
Nkondo has a background in self-published comics, with English editions of his graphic novels Peaceful Remission and Wandering released in 2026.
