Biography
Jonathan-Ismaël Diaby is a Canadian actor, rapper and former professional ice hockey player. He portrays Dolo, a fictionalised version of himself, in the television series Shoresy (2022–), a spin-off of Letterkenny.
Born in Blainville, Quebec, in 1994, Diaby was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the 2013 NHL entry draft. He played in the AHL, ECHL and LNAH before retiring from hockey in 2020. Under the name JoDolo he has released rap music, some of which features in Shoresy, where he made his acting debut. He was given creative control over the songs used.
