Biography
Jonathan Jackson is an American actor. Born on 11 May 1982 in Orlando, Florida, he began his career with commercials before being cast as Lucky Spencer on the soap opera General Hospital in 1993, a role he has played in multiple stints through 2025. He received several Daytime Emmy Awards for the performance.
Jackson has appeared in films including The Deep End of the Ocean (1999), Tuck Everlasting (2002) as Jesse Tuck, Insomnia (2002), Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights (2004) and Riding the Bullet (2004). He played Avery Barkley on the series Nashville from 2012 to 2018. He is also a musician with the band Enation.
