Biography
Jonathan Marc Sherman is an American actor and playwright. Born on 10 October 1968, he attended Bennington College and was one of the founders of the Malaparte Theater Company.
He is known for his role as Ira Weitzman in the film tick, tick... BOOM! (2021). Other film appearances include Blaze (2018) as Sam, The Baxter (2005) as Deaf Bar Baxter, The Hottest State (2007) as Party Philosopher, and an uncredited role in Quiz Show (1994).
Sherman began writing plays as a teenager and had early productions including Women and Wallace (1988) at the Young Playwrights Festival.
