Biography
Joni Lefkowitz is an American screenwriter and producer. She was born on 15 December 1980 in Omaha, Nebraska.
She co-created the ABC Family series Chasing Life (2014–2015), on which she also served as writer and executive producer. She co-wrote and produced the feature film Life Partners (2014) with Susanna Fogel. Lefkowitz has written episodes of New Girl (2016) and Jane the Virgin (2019), and has held producing roles on both series. She teaches screenwriting at UCLA Extension.
