Biography
Jorge Luke was a Mexican actor. Born Jorge Obscura Lango in Mexico City on 18 October 1942, he began his screen career in the late 1960s and appeared in more than 140 film and television productions over four decades. He studied architecture at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México before turning to acting.
Luke gained international recognition for roles in Hollywood productions including Ulzana's Raid (1972), The Return of a Man Called Horse (1976), Salvador (1986) as Colonel Julio Figueroa, and Clear and Present Danger (1994). He also worked extensively in Mexican cinema and television, with credits including La Chèvre (1981) and the series Soy tu fan (2010). He died in Mexico City on 4 August 2012.
