Biography
Jorge Petraglia was an Argentine actor and theatre director. Born in Buenos Aires in 1927, he began his career in the 1950s with early stage work including a production of Waiting for Godot and founded the Teatro Universitario de Arquitectura in 1949. He directed numerous plays by Samuel Beckett and Harold Pinter, as well as works by Argentine authors.
Petraglia made his film debut in Piedra libre (1976). He is known for his role as Macci in The Official Story (1985) and as Mistein in Moebius (1996), alongside appearances in Wild Horses (1995) and Eva Perón (1996). He died in Buenos Aires on 14 March 2004.
