Biography
Jorge Weisz is a Mexican-Canadian film editor. He completed the Editors' Lab programme at the Canadian Film Centre in 2012.
His credits include the feature films Empire of Dirt (2013), Wet Bum (2014), Debug (2014), April's Daughter (2017), Level 16 (2018), Hammer (2019), Night Raiders (2021), Sweetland (2023) and Sharp Corner (2024). He has also edited episodes of the series Sterling Point (2026).
Weisz received Canadian Screen Award nominations for Best Editing for Empire of Dirt (2014) and Sharp Corner (2025). He was nominated for Directors Guild of Canada awards for Hammer (2020) and Night Raiders (2022).
