Biography
José Tamez is a producer. He is director of development for Salma Hayek's Ventanarosa Productions.
Tamez has executive produced the television series Ugly Betty (2006–2010) and Monarca (2019–2021). He has produced the films Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet (2014) and Tótem (2023), and has worked on the series Santa Evita (2022) and Like Water for Chocolate (2024). He was previously a top executive at Televisa Editorial.
