Biography
Josef Koníček was a Czech choreographer and actor. Born in Prague in 1931, he trained as a typesetter and typographer before working in film and television. He also had a background in athletics.
Koníček served as choreographer on the musical western parody Lemonade Joe (1964). He appeared as a dancer in Daisies (1966), directed by Věra Chytilová. He contributed choreography to numerous other Czechoslovak films and television productions, including series such as 30 Cases of Major Zeman.
