Biography
Josep Amorós is a Spanish producer and production manager. He began working in the audiovisual sector in the 1990s, initially as a director of production, and has since contributed to more than thirty feature films, documentaries, commercials, music videos and television series.
In 2003 he founded the production company Beat Producció. Through it he has produced or co-produced films including Costa Brava and Sévigné, as well as the documentary Cherif. He is a member of the Asociación de Directores de Producción Española, the Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas de España and the Acadèmia del Cinema Català.
His credits as production manager or producer include The Machinist (2004), The Last Days (2013), Below Zero (2021) and the series One Hundred Years of Solitude (2024).
