Biography
Josh McKenzie is a New Zealand actor, writer and producer. He first gained recognition for his role as Marc Snell in the 2011 feature film The Hopes & Dreams of Gazza Snell, for which he received the Most Outstanding Debut Performance award at the Aotearoa Film & Television Awards.
McKenzie has appeared in international television series including La Brea (2021–2024) as Lucas Hayes, The Hunting Party (2025) as Shane Florence, and The Twelve (2024) as Joey Kovac. He is also credited as Podcaster in the 2026 film Beast. In addition to acting, he has worked behind the camera, co-writing, directing and producing the 2014 web series The Transplants.
