Biography
Josh Olson is an American screenwriter and podcaster. He wrote the screenplay for the 2005 film A History of Violence, directed by David Cronenberg, an adaptation of the graphic novel by John Wagner and Vince Locke. He received nominations for the Academy Award, BAFTA and Writers Guild of America awards for best adapted screenplay.
Olson wrote and directed the 2002 horror film Infested. His other credits include a segment of the anthology Batman: Gotham Knight (2008) and the screenplay for Trigger Warning (2024). He has collaborated on projects including an episode of Masters of Science Fiction with Harlan Ellison and contributed to the audio drama series Bronzeville.
