Biography
Josh Senter, also credited as Joshua Senter, is an American screenwriter and novelist. Born in Plato, Missouri, he moved to Los Angeles in 1997 and graduated with honours from the Art Center College of Design. He began his television career writing for the Showtime series The L Word in 2004 before joining Desperate Housewives (2004), where he wrote six episodes across the first three seasons, served as story editor and executive story editor, and received a Writers Guild of America Award nomination for the episode 'Don't Look at Me' in 2006.
Senter later worked as a writer and producer on Chasing Life (2014) and Finding Carter (2014–2015). His television credits also include the 2020 Freeform film The Thing About Harry. He published his debut novel, Daisies, in 2014 and a second novel, Still the Night Call, in 2022.
