Biography
Joyce Barbour (27 March 1901 – 14 March 1977) was an English actress. She was born in Birmingham and made her first stage appearance there in 1914. She appeared on the London stage from 1915 and on Broadway in productions including Havoc (1924), Sky-High (1925), Present Arms (1928) and Spring is Here (1929).
Barbour married the actor Richard Bird in 1931. Her film roles include Renee in Alfred Hitchcock's Sabotage (1936), Barbara Fane in Housemaster (1938) and Harriet in Don't Take It to Heart! (1944). She also appeared in later stage productions such as Blithe Spirit and The Happiest Days of Your Life.
