Biography
Judith O'Dea is an American actress. She played Barbra in the 1968 horror film Night of the Living Dead, directed by George A. Romero.
O'Dea began performing in the 1960s with stage and local television work in Pittsburgh before moving to Los Angeles. She later took a break from acting to raise her family and founded O'Dea Communications, which provides oral communications training. She returned to acting in the 2000s, appearing in several independent horror films including Claustrophobia (2003), October Moon (2005) and Women's Studies (2010). She reprised the role of Barbra in Night of the Living Dead: Genesis (2017) and appeared in Vampire Zombies... from Space! (2024).
