Biography
Jules-Eugène Legris was a French actor and magician. He performed at Georges Méliès's Théâtre Robert-Houdin in Paris and appeared in several of Méliès's early films.
He is credited as the parade leader in A Trip to the Moon (1902). He also appeared in Méliès shorts including Jack Jaggs and Dum Dum (1903), The Spiritualist Photographer (1903), The Mystical Flame (1903) and Jack and Jim (1903). An unconfirmed credit exists for The House of the Devil (1896).
Legris was born in 1862 and died in 1926.
