Biography
Julia Brownell is a television writer and producer. She has written episodes of This Is Us (2018–2022), The Path (2016–2018), Pure Genius (2016–2017), About a Boy (2014–2015), Parenthood (2013–2014) and Smash (2012), among other series.
She has also served as a producer on several of these programmes, including as co-executive producer on This Is Us and The Path. Brownell received two Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Drama Series for her work on This Is Us.
